Management Team
Our President and Owner of AAID working with his father, the founder of AAID, began his career in aviation learning the family business. After serving in the Air Force’s Tactical Air Command and 23 years in engineering for Honeywell’s engine division he returned to take over the family business. He is also a pilot and enjoys flying.
The Interior Designer has degrees in both Interior Design and Aeronautical Management, combining the love of flying with design.
Installation Team
Our installation team lead joined AAID in July of 2011, bringing with him 25 years of experience from the mobile electronics and fabrication industry. Eleven of those years, he was the owner of a custom automotive interior and fabrication shop.
The founder, started AAID over 43 years ago after making a hobby into his profession. He has been retired from AAID for over 12 years but hasn’t missed a day of work since.
Our lead installer has been with us since 2000 and is a native of Arizona. He took to the air for the first time at age 16 at Falcon Field in a Cessna 172. Since then, he has enjoyed experimenting with aerobatics and skydiving. Prior to coming to AAID, he worked at a machine shop in the aerospace industry.
Upholstery Team
Our Production Supervisor of the Upholstery Department has been with AAID for over 27 years! During that time, she has developed countless custom seat designs that perfectly conform to our client’s specifications. She takes great pride in producing very high quality interiors. She became skilled at the art of upholstery during her 12 years with Sea-Ray learning to construct boat interiors. She is a native Arizonan who loves the outdoors.
Our Master Upholstery Technician who has been with AAID for 20 years. Prior to that they spent 17 years in clothing alterations before going to work for an automobile upholstery shop for 6 years and a custom automobile dashboard and car seat cover company for another year.
Our Master Seamstress has over 37 years of commercial sewing experience. She attended flight school from ages 17-21; afterward she stitched sport parachutes for 3 years before moving to Arizona. For the next 30 years, she was employed by a custom automotive supply house, where she worked on automobile interiors.
